Art Regeneration Hotel Converted Media Center
Inspired by the Harbin lilac, this project transforms an abandoned hotel into a media center. The design integrates floral forms with the city landscape. Dual atriums allow ninety two percent of the interior to receive natural light. The interior utilizes modular zones and recycled materials to create a cold region environment. This project stands as the first ultra low energy retrofit demonstration for severe cold regions of China. It achieves urban renewal through sustainable technology.
