Home Oasis Interior Design
Located on a busy suburban junction of Ernakulam city in Kerala, India is this 40 year old ancestral home that needed to be revamped. Built to accommodate a family of six members: a lovely couple, their three children and their elderly mother. The idea was to unify the entire space and bring back the soul of a house that had undergone minor renovations over the years. With the intention to encourage the passage of light and ample ventilation into the home, the designer made the openings bigger and took down obstructing walls to create airy spaces and vistas.
