The ancients wrote, to have nothing is to have plenty. That the employees of the Design Center, who will be moving into the building, will work while cultivating a sensitivity to the essence of what can be seen in a simple space, and to the fragility and preciousness of the natural world, and that this will be reflected in the designs they produce.
