Qin Di is an experienced designer and a contemporary translator of Oriental aesthetics. A graduate of Harbin Institute of Technology with a major in architecture, she laid a solid foundation in architectural space theory, complemented by research in environmental art design—integrating architectural spatial logic with artistic aesthetic expression to develop both theoretical depth and practical execution capabilities. As a faculty member in the Department of Environmental Arts at the School of Arts, Northeast Agricultural University, she has been deeply engaged in design education and theoretical research, forming an academic cycle of practice summary output that fosters mutual benefit between teaching and design practice. Focused on the modern extraction and innovative application of traditional Chinese cultural elements, she excels at blending Eastern aesthetics with contemporary spatial needs, infusing spaces with cultural connotations and emotional warmth through techniques such as symbolic deconstruction and material translation. With expertise spanning architecture and interior design, she breaks through single design dimensions to achieve interdisciplinary collaborative innovation uniting architecture interior culture and function, with experience across diverse spatial types including hotels restaurants cultural venues commercial spaces and offices. Adhering to the core principle of putting people first valuing emotional care and interpreting spatial experience through details, she emphasizes that spaces should not only meet physical functional needs but also carry users emotional requirements, conveying humanistic warmth through thoughtful choices of materials light and shadow and circulation.
