Wu Duan is a distinguished scholar recruited under Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts’ high-level talent program. He currently serves as the Dean of the Bay Area Innovation Institute, Director of the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange, Director of the Office for Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Affairs, Director of the International Student Office, and Executive Deputy Director of the Foshan Campus Management Committee. He obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from South China University of Technology. He then earned Master's degrees in Architecture and Urban Design from KU Leuven in Belgium and University College London in the UK, respectively, and completed a PhD in Philosophy at the University of Cambridge. His research interests include urban spatial big data analysis and design, urban studies, and architectural research.
