Beijing Forestry University (BFU) is a key university under the direct administration of the Ministry of Education of China, and is built jointly by the Ministry of Education and the National Forestry and Grassland Administration. BFU is one of the first higher education institutions selected for China’s “211 Project” and is enlisted as an Innovation Platform for Prioritized Academic Disciplines and a Double First-Class university. BFU draws on its solid foundation in biology and ecology, prides itself particularly on its distinctive disciplines such as forestry, landscape architecture, forestry engineering, grass science and argo-economic management, and stresses the balanced and coordinated development of programs in agronomy, science, engineering, management, economy, law, philosophy, education as well as arts.
